What part of 'No' does the President not understand when it comes to Washington's year-long attempt to force the bitter pill of government-controlled health care down the throats of Missourians?
U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) today issued the following statement on President Obama’s attempt to sell government-controlled health care to Missourians: “What part of ‘No’ does the President not understand when it comes to Washington’s year-long attempt to force the bitter pill of government-controlled health care down the throats of Missourians? The majority of people in the Show-Me State clearly oppose a plan that spends money we don’t have, raises taxes, rations care and slashes care to our most vulnerable citizens. Missourians will not tolerate being ignored while the government decides how best to care for our families. I will continue to support improving our health care system by listening to the people of Missouri and supporting their ideas and solutions, which were presented to the President last month.” ###
