The following is a statement from U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) in honor of the Fourth of July:

“At a time when our country is at a crossroads, it is important to take stock of the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and recall the sacrifices that have been made by so many before us to secure and protect our freedom. We must never forget that our nation was built by the people and for the people. We must care for our nation and remain loyal to the principles it was founded on. It is also a time to be thankful for our families and the many blessings that our great nation has bestowed upon us. On behalf of my family and staff, I would like to wish you all a safe and happy Fourth of July.”
