Luetkemeyer Statement on 2010 Budget Proposal
Washington, DC,
February 26, 2009
I am willing to work with the President and Congress to ensure that we have a budget that helps promote economic recovery without putting the burden on taxpayers and future generations.
Following is a statement from U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) on the President’s blueprint for 2010 budget: “I am willing to work with the President and Congress to ensure that we have a budget that helps promote economic recovery without putting the burden on taxpayers and future generations. I am troubled with the prospect of potential tax increases that will hurt our farmers and small businesses. Missourians and other American families are struggling to make ends meet, and I want to work in a bipartisan manner to get our economy back on track.”
