“As we prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July with food, fireworks and fun we also should take the opportunity to reflect on the many rights and freedoms that we enjoy in this great nation and the struggles to gain and protect them.

 

“Remember that freedom is not free, and we must protect the rights that so many fought and died for over the course of more than 200 years. So as we celebrate our nation’s birthday, we should be thankful that we have the freedom to do so and remain vigilant today, tomorrow and forever against those who would seek to take it away.
