Luetkemeyer Patriot Day Statement

Nine years ago, our nation changed as we watched our freedom and way of life come under attack here at home. So as our nation marks Patriot Day, we should pause to remember both the victims of those horrific attacks and the loved ones who were left behind. We should also take a moment to thank members of our military who have served so bravely on the frontlines in the war against terrorism.

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) issued the following statement as our nation tomorrow marks Patriot Day and reflects on the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001:

“Nine years ago, our nation changed as we watched our freedom and way of life come under attack here at home. So as our nation marks Patriot Day, we should pause to remember both the victims of those horrific attacks and the loved ones who were left behind. We should also take a moment to thank members of our military who have served so bravely on the frontlines in the war against terrorism.”
