Luetkemeyer Named Taxpayer Hero by Citizens Against Government Waste

The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste today named U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer a Taxpayer Hero for his work during the first session of the 111th Congress to protect the taxpayers hard-earned dollars.

The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste today named U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer  a Taxpayer Hero for his work during the first session of the 111thCongress to protect the taxpayers hard-earned dollars.

The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste scored 120 House votes in 2009, and this year marks the twenty-first year of the Congressional Ratings. The mission of the group is to eliminate waste, mismanagement and inefficiency in government. 

“As the voice for the families of Missouri’s 9thDistrict in Washington, I will continue to fight against job-killing tax increases and work to make government more efficient and accountable to the taxpayers,” Luetkemeyer said. “It is my goal to let the taxpayers keep more of their hard-earned money so that we can help boost our economy and end our growing dependence on the federal government.”
