Luetkemeyer Recognized by National Group for Fighting Against Job-Killing Tax Increases

In recognition of his efforts to fight job-killing tax increases, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) received the 111th Congress Tax Fighter Award from the National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) for "being a consistent fiscal conservative and friend of the taxpayer."

In recognition of his efforts to fight job-killing tax increases, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) received the 111th Congress Tax Fighter Award from the National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) for “being a consistent fiscal conservative and friend of the taxpayer.”

NTLC, which gave Luetkemeyer an “A” grade based on his work on behalf of taxpayers, has been scoring Congress for over 25 years.  NTLC boasts the longest continuous scorecard of any grassroots tax-fighting organization in the country.

“The people of the 9th District have made it clear to me that the last thing they need is for the government to reach even deeper into their pocketbooks at a time when the economy is struggling, and folks are struggling to make ends meet,” Luetkemeyer said. “I will continue to fight against job-killing tax increases so that hard-working folks will have the money they need to take care of their families and invest in our economy.”
