In an effort to ensure that Missourians are counted in the 2010 Census, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) has added a 2010 Census link to his Congressional website that provides detailed information about the Census from the federal government.

“Providing census information is critical to our communities because it helps determine how the federal government provides $400 billion worth of funding for critical services and infrastructure, and I am hopeful that the valuable link on our website will encourage people to participate in the process,” said Luetkemeyer, a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee whose responsibilities include the Census.

Census forms will be distributed in the spring. To find the Census link, visitors are asked to go to /index.html then click on the box in the bottom left corner of Luetkemeyer’s homepage titled: United States’ Census 2010, It’s In Our Hands.
