U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) welcomed Nicole Brandt of Koeltztown, Mo. to our nation’s capital to participate in the Congressional Page Program that provides young people with an opportunity to experience first-hand our government in action.

“I was honored to nominate Nicole because it will provide her with a unique opportunity to get a first-hand look at how Congress operates, while also getting a sense of our country’s history and traditions,” Luetkemeyer said.  “I’m sure Nicole will do an excellent job as a page, while also representing her town, her state and her country.”

Pages assist members of Congress with their legislative duties, deliver correspondence and small packages within the congressional complex; answer phones in the member cloakrooms; and prepare the House Floor for sessions. During their tenure as pages, students like Nicole live just a few blocks from the Capitol at the Page Residence Hall and attend classes at the House Page School.

Nicole, a student at Fatima High School in Westphalia, is a member of the FFA, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Varisty Cheerleading and Varisty Soccer. Nicole is also active in her community with Relay For Life and the Catholic Youth Organization.
