U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) today announced that his nominee for the U.S. Naval Academy, Keith Christian Wiegert of St. Charles, has been offered an appointment to the military academy in Annapolis, Maryland as part of the 2016 graduating class.

The United States Naval Academy offers four-year programs in a variety of disciplines challenging midshipmen on every level from academics, character, humility and athletics. The academy prepares midshipmen with state-of-the-art training they will need to be successful naval officers.

Wiegert, the son of Gregory and Elaine Wiegert, currently attends  Francis Howell High School.
