National Journal Ranks Luetkemeyer Most Conservative Among Missouri House Members

National Journal released its vote ranking for 2011 and U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) has the most conservative overall voting record in the Missouri delegation and the 45th most conservative voting record in the House.

National Journal released its vote ranking for 2011 and U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) has the most conservative overall voting record in the Missouri delegation and the 45th most conservative voting record in the House.

National Journal scored House members on 105 key economic, social and foreign-policy votes. Luetkemeyer received an overall score of  84.5, indicating that he is more conservative than 84.5 percent of his colleagues in the House.

“I remain hopeful that the changes my conservative colleagues and I are fighting for will make the necessary improvements to our government, make it more transparent and put our government back into the hands of the people,” Luetkemeyer said. “I will continue to listen to my constituents and take their criticisms and suggestions with me to Washington to make sure that our government is working for the best interest of all American families.”
