Luetkemeyer Meets With Electric Cooperative Essay Winners from the Ninth District

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) this week met in Washington D.C. with the 28 Missouri electric cooperative essay winners from around the 9th District who were recognized for writing about topics relating to the environment and agriculture.

“These students are an example of the many talented people that make up the 9th District,” Luetkemeyer said. “I am pleased that these students are aware of the importance of staying active and involved in their communities. After meeting with the essay winners and answering their thoughtful questions, I am extremely proud of each of them and I’m glad that they were rewarded with the opportunity to visit Washington to gain even more knowledge.”
