Luetkemeyer Welcomes Guest Chaplain from Jefferson City to Deliver Opening Prayer on House Floor

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-3) will have the honor tomorrow of introducing Monsignor Robert Kurwicki of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Jefferson City who will deliver the opening prayer on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-3) will have the honor tomorrow of introducing Monsignor Robert Kurwicki of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Jefferson City who will deliver the opening prayer on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Monsignor Kurwicki is expected the deliver the opening prayer at approximately 11 a.m. Central Time.

β€œI am deeply honored to have the opportunity to host Monsignor Kurwicki and have him serve as the guest chaplain,” Luetkemeyer said. β€œIt is through his devoted mission that many find hope and strength and I am humbled to have him speak here in Washington today.”

Since 2011, Monsignor Kurwicki has served as the Chaplain for the Missouri House of Representatives. Additionally, he is a member of the Priests Senate and the Vice-Chancellor of the Diocese of Jefferson City.
