“I was proud to support the passage of the Farm Bill today and I am extremely disappointed that the House rejected it because this bill would have made much needed reforms to both the nutrition and farm portions of the existing policies, saving taxpayers a total of $40 billion. The bill also would have provided hard-working farm families with the stability they need to plan for the future and ensured that the American people continue to enjoy the most safe and affordable food supply in the world,” Luetkemeyer said.
