U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) released the following statement in response to the announcement of the P5+1 reaching an agreement with Iran:

“After months of missed deadlines and negotiations, it is announced that a deal has been reached with nuclear Iran. The details of the agreement have not yet been released but I hope it does not t place misguided responsibility and trust in the Iranian regime, which has proven time and again that it cannot be relied upon.  The House of Representatives will thoroughly review the details of the agreement over the next 60 days and I will not support a deal that is bad for our country, our allies, or for the safety of our national security.”
