U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) issued the following statement after the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency announced its location would remain in Missouri:

“I am incredibly pleased with the successful outcome of our team effort to keep the NGA West facility in the state of Missouri. This decision means that over 3,000 critical national security jobs will stay in Missouri. The Missouri site meets all of NGA’s security needs, while increasing NGA’s ability to recruit and retain the best and brightest individuals from across the nation.  NGA and Missouri have had a mutually beneficial relationship for the last 70 years and it is my hope this important agency and the state will work together for another 70 years.”
