After nominating Brace for Impact 46 as an Angel in Adoption earlier this year, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) was honored to host the organization during the trip to Washington.

Brace for Impact 46 is a non-profit organization located in Lake Saint Louis that raises money for orphaned children living in Haiti. Additionally, through partnerships with local churches and contractors, the organization’s newest project is focused on providing affordable housing and job training to Missouri families in need.

“Brace for Impact 46 is truly unique because the organization is helping children here in our backyards and also overseas,” Luetkemeyer said. “As the organization moves forward with plans to combat child and family homelessness in Missouri, I am confident their work will have a lasting impact on our local communities. Ensuring youth and families have access to the most fundamental of human needs was not a job anyone was asked to; rather felt compelled to complete – I’m honored to recognize Brace for Impact 46 with the title of a 2016 Angels in Adoption honoree.”

The Angels in Adoption program is the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s public awareness campaign and provides an opportunity for all members of Congress to honor the good work of their constituents who have enriched the lives of foster children in the United States and abroad.
