After the Missouri delegation worked with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Julian Castro, it was announced that HUD awarded the city of St. Louis a grant for the Fiscal Year 2016 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation program.

“Today, I am proud to announce that housing opportunities will expand and increase for Missourians in the St. Louis region,” Luetkemeyer said. “With this grant and with other investments coming into the city, there will be more opportunities for better housing and jobs for families and individuals. I want to thank Secretary Castro for discussing this project with me and for his work to secure the grant for betterment of all Missourians. I look forward to the progress that will be made.”
