U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) issued the following statement after the U.S. Senate approved Steve Mnuchin as the next U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.

“I applaud the Senate’s confirmation of Steve Mnuchin to be the next U.S. Secretary of the Treasury,” Luetkemeyer said. “With my role on the House Financial Services Committee, I look forward to hearing from Secretary Mnuchin about how we can work together to reduce red tape, promote innovation, grow our economy, and make sure that American consumers can access credit and achieve financial independence.”
