U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) issued the following statement after the Trump administration’s withdrawal of the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule:

“Today is a victory for Missourians – especially for farmers, ranchers, and small businesses across the state,” Luetkemeyer said. “This announcement is a huge step in the right direction in returning power back to the states and providing regulatory certainty to our nation’s farmers. The Waters of the United States  rule represented the largest land grab in American history, and was one of the most egregious regulations stemming from the Obama Administration. I applaud the President and EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt by reversing the EPA’s wrongdoings from the previous administration.”
