On Democrats proposal to expand the United States Supreme Court: 
“It’s all politics – it’s not going to go anywhere. Quite frankly, I think what’s going on here is they’re trying to put pressure on Justice Breyer to retire. But I think this is more political theater right now than it is about actually getting a bill across the finish line.” 

On his letter to Treasury Secretary Yellen and SBA Administrator Guzman urging them to reopen the economy and let small businesses thrive:
“I think it’s important that we… continue to provide the oversight over lower taxes, less regulation, less government intrusion into the lives of small businesses. Small businesses drive our economy. I’m the Ranking Member on Small Business and it’s my job to make sure we protect them and empower them to continue to provide jobs and drive our economy.”
