Luetkemeyer Named Member of House Small Business Committee for 115th Congress

Today, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) was once again named to the House Small Business Committee for the 115th Congress.

Today, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) was once again named to the House Small Business Committee for the 115th Congress.

“Small businesses are the heart and soul of Main Street in countless towns across Missouri and they are the number one driver of new job creation in our nation,” Luetkemeyer said. “That’s why the Small Business Committee is so important. For eight years America’s small businesses and their employees have been buried in an avalanche of government red-tape which has hindered economic growth and expansion. I look forward to working alongside Chairman Chabot to advance common-sense policies that will create opportunities for all Americans.”

“We are absolutely delighted that Blaine will be returning to the House Small Business Committee for the 115th Congress,” said Chairman Chabot. “I know he will continue to be a leader as we work to cut government red tape, increase access to capital and help America’s 28 million small businesses thrive. Blaine’s work on our Committee has been informed by his own successful career as a small businessman and we look forward to continuing to have the benefit of his experience and acumen.”

The House Small Business Committee will announce subcommittee assignments at a later date.

Luetkemeyer is also a member of the House Financial Services Committee where he serves as the Subcommittee Chairman of the Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.
